Culinary delights at Tschöggelberg

Farm dairy and farm shop in Hafling – cheese, yogurt, jams, chutneys and seasonal specialities straight from the farm.

Honest, close to the farm

Lenkhof is located in Hafling at 1200 m above sea level, on the Tschöggelberg – just a ten-minute walk from the Knottnkino. Georg Aichner took over his parents' dairy farm with 15 cows and took a bold step: the trained carpenter entered direct marketing and built his own cheese dairy with aging cellar and farm shop.

Since June 2020, raw milk cheese has been produced here in various fat levels – semi-hard and hard cheese that matures for at least six months using red culture, and soft cheese with white mould, with and without herb rind. Plus yogurt, butter, milk and ice cream from own production. The cheese wheels mature on spruce wood and are brushed by hand.

Georg runs the farm together with his parents. His mother Rosi keeps expanding the range: chutneys made from pumpkin, carrots and pears, pestos, jams and honey complement the cheese selection in the farm shop. Some products are also supplied to local gastronomy.
